Melanie & Charley: Folly Beach Wedding

Melanie and Charley were married on May 4, 2013 at a Folly Beach wedding in a house overlooking the marsh. The high winds and unusually cool May weather meant that their outdoor, waterfront ceremony had to be moved indoors. But luckily they had a great backup plan in place and the day went on smoothly! Every detail of the day was carefully planned right down to the beautiful centerpieces at the reception. Melanie and Charley are such a sweet couple. I really enjoyed getting to know them and celebrating their special day with them. Congratulations you two!

Kate & Hunter | Charleston Engagement Photos

Kate and Hunter live in Georgia, and we got together to shoot their engagement photos one morning during their weekend visit to Charleston. I had so much fun wandering around downtown Charleston with these two, showing them some of my favorite spots as I photographed them. Hunter and Kate make such a cute couple and are so sweet together. You can just tell from the moment you meet them how happy they make each other. The morning of their session I was worried about the weather, but we definitely lucked out! Not only did it not start raining until I was back in my car, but we actually had some sunshine. Enjoy a few of my favorites of Kate and Hunter!

Baby Bryce | Newborn Photos

Introducing my son, Bryce Martin, born on February 8, 2013 at 1:47am. He’s been in front of my camera ever since he was born. I’m sure as he gets old he will become tired of having his photo taken, but for now I’ve been enjoying documenting his life without any complaints. Since Bryce came home, it has been a busy month of adjusting to being a new mom and getting to know our son. I finally had some time to share some of his newborn portraits that I took of him on days five and eight of his life. Bryce is a six weeks old now and I can’t believe how much he has already grown since these photos were made! I can’t wait to share more photos of Bryce as he grows.
